The 5 R’s Reading Log is a fresh shift from traditional reading logs. The 5 R’s represent five effective reading practices: REFLECT, RECOGNIZE, REVIEW, RELATE, and RESPOND. These five practices are each aligned with one or more levels of Bloom’s Taxonomy to create questions that require students to interpret text in a variety of ways. Readers are required to think critically, creatively, and reflectively. The premise of 5 R’s Reading Logs is deeper, more meaningful questioning fosters deeper, more meaningful thinking!
Over 100 questions are included in this set of 40 reading logs. (36 fiction and 4 bonus nonfiction logs for those avid nonfiction readers!) Each log includes space for the title of the text, author, minutes read, pages read and day.
