Want to get the parents of your students involved in the education of their children?
This little booklet of questions can help you do just that. Most students probably spend some time in the evening reading. These question cards will give parents ideas of questions they can ask their children to check and monitor comprehension.
These cards are also a good resource to use in the classroom!
Make copies of the booklet. Have students assemble the pages for their parents or
ask a volunteer to do it for you. I suggest making copies on durable cardstock in
vibrant colors. Then punch a hole in the left top corner of each card and assemble
with a circle ring or a piece of ribbon or yarn. You could also just staple the cards together in the corner.
Use the cover letter I have included in this packet or write your own.
