Reading Questions for Parents to Ask Their Readers in Grades 4-8

The questions are broken into categories (general, before reading, during reading, after reading, reading comprehension, character, setting, conflict, and higher order thinking questions). Parents/guardians can pick and choose which questions to ask their reader, depending on age, type of text being read, etc. The questions can just be discussed verbally, or students can write or type responses.
