Students read an interview about what five Spanish teenagers think about flamenco and complete related activities.
The corresponding activities include:
-Answering pre-reading questions about their tastes/preferences in music and prior beliefs that they have about flamenco.
-Identifying cognates in the article.
-Using the context of the article to define new words.
-Completing a chart that asks them about examples of "gustar" and similar verbs found in the interview.
-Answering comprehension questions in complete sentences.
-Sharing their opinions/views of flamenco after reading the interview.
I have used this as a test, but it could easily be done as a reading activity instead!
