This is a project where students create book review videos like those featured on Reading Rainbow. I use this with my Jr. High struggling readers so they can read books at their independent level and write a review of them. We record the students reading their review using the SmartBoard as a backdrop to display photos of the book. We then send the videos to students in younger grades to encourage them to read the book.
This activity is very motivating for older struggling readers!
