Students get tired of doing the same things with books or stories week after week. Why not change it up some? The Reading Response Cards for Fiction and Non-Fiction Books uses differentiated learning and Bloom's Taxonomy to engage students so that they become better readers, writers, and thinkers.
Reading Response Cards for Fiction and Non-Fiction Books contains 25 cards for fiction and 20 cards for non-fiction. Cards were created as 5 x 3 index cards so the cards can easily be kept in an index card holder. Students get to choose the activities that they want to do. This makes the learning fun and exciting. Teachers can decide on the number of cards they want the students to complete each week. The tasks range from easy to challenging, so there is something for every child to do.
The cards are also aligned with the new Common Core Standards and can be used in grades 3-7. An extra card was added so that teachers can create their own activities.
