    Description

Responding to reading is a necessary skill that students need to have.

In our excitement we give students reading response choice boards and activities without laying the ground work and wonder why they are not being successful.

This scaffolded approach will help you set your students up for success and save you time in the long run.

    What's Included:

In this product, you will find everything you need to launch argumentative reading response choice boards in a way that allows you to build on one skill before adding another.

I give you a suggested roll out plan in the how to use section of the resource, starting with individually launching three skills. I then suggest how to individually launch the next three, then the final three. Your students will ultimately have a nine-response choice board.

I have also included lined and unlined three-rectangle and four-square blank response forms for students to use to show their responses, including options for Google Slides and Jamboards. There is a teacher rubric, student checklist, and student reading log, as well.
