Doodle notes are a fabulous way to break up the monotony of traditional notes or comprehension questions. It asks for the students to tell about their favorite part of what has been read, the conflict, plot summary, and their own thoughts.
Students can doodle their response however they see fit. Whether it be completely in pictures, all words, or some combo of the two. Doodle has shown to really increase student engagement in classroom, and the kiddos are constantly asking to do them
