This is a fully EDITABLE Reading Log with a fiction and nonfiction question for each day of reading, and space for parent signature. Each day the student records the date, title, and author, and checks the box to indicate whether they have read a fiction or nonfiction text. Lastly, they answer the corresponding fiction or nonfiction question on the lines provided. At the end of the month students receive a grade and comments for their completed work. This can be a daily homework assignment or daily in-class reading assignment. Logs may be collected daily, weekly, or monthly. Below are selected questions from the reading log.
