ABOUT our 21st Century Learning Articles

Our weekly 21st Century Learning Articles give you information about an issue that you can discuss with your students - as a quick 5-minute conversation or stretched out into a full period.

  • The lesson slideshow includes talking points and discussion questions. This will always be free and posted on our Educircles.org website.
  • A student handout package is available for download from our TpT store. This includes printable handouts at three different reading levels in PDF and editable .DOCx format.
  • BONUS: The full package can be downloaded for FREE for a limited time to people who subscribe to our email newsletter on Educircles.org - click here for more information

ABOUT the DIFFERENTIATED READING LEVELS in this article

Our 21st Century Learning Articles are written at three different reading levels:

  • a middle reading level - approx. grades 7-8
  • a harder level - approx. grades 9-11
  • an easier level - approx. grades 4-6.

This allows teachers at different grades to use our lessons. It also gives teachers the opportunity to accommodate or modify for different student reading levels within the same class.

  • The different reading level handouts look identical and the content in each body paragraph is identical.
  • Body paragraphs are numbered on each handout for easier reference.
