Students are given a choice of nine Reading Response activities. The activities are placed on a Tic Tac Toe board and students choose three in a row to complete. Activities are positioned strategically so that students will a create a variety of responses to a text (written/graphical). Suitable for use with novel studies, short stories, and some non-fiction texts. A rubric (marking scheme) for each of the nine activities is included in the package. Two sample responses are included in the package to use during introduction of the tasks and during discussions about assessment and evaluation of each task.
