Description

Looking for a great third grade end of year reading activity for your students? These 5 reading review crosswords provide a fun, engaging, and quiet way for your third grade students to review the academic vocabulary they've learned throughout the year. Our kids have a lot thrown at them in third grade reading and need a refresher to review all of that vocabulary.

These reading review crosswords are great for reviewing academic vocabulary at the end of a unit and as a fun end of the year reading activity! They can be used as independent review, partner work, group work, or early finishers.

They are also the perfect end of the year activity to give your students if you need to work on any end of year closing procedures or paperwork!

There are crosswords with and without word banks for both the print and digital versions so you can adjust the difficulty level for your students.

A version that is compatible with Google Slidesâ„¢ is included!

These third grade reading review crosswords cover:

  • Genres
  • Figurative Language
  • Elements of Fiction
  • Text Features
  • Poetry
