It is easy to lose track of exactly how long your students have
been reading that chapter book. Never let them drag their feet with their books again with these handy reading schedules/bookmarks.
The students can fill out the top portion with their name, the name of the book, and how many pages are in the whole book. Then you give them a daily reading assignment based on how many pages you think they should be able to read in a day. For instance: Mon 1-30, Tues 31-61, Wed 61-91...until you get to the end of
the book. Then they can just use the schedule as a bookmark and have on hand, at all times, what page they should be on!
There are four bookmarks per sheet. There are black and white ones that you can print, cut, and have the students get as they need them. Another option, is to print and laminate the ones that are in color, use wet erase markers on them, and the kids can reuse them many times!
