This is a Google spreadsheet for inputting students' responses to a reading self-assessment. This spreadsheet directly corresponds to Jennifer Serravallo's reading self-reflection tool, available for free online with a simple search (What Can I Work on as a Reader?). This spreadsheet allows teachers to clearly see their students' self-assessed strengths and needs in reading, and form skills-based groups to address those strategies/skills. Simply type your students names on the left, then type 'Y' for "Yes/Always" responses, 'S' for "Sometimes/Kind of" responses, or 'N' for "No/Never" responses. The cells will automatically be filled with a different corresponding color for each of the three responses, allowing you to see groups more efficiently.
