Description

Here's a fun, engaging way to keep the children wanting to practice reading skills!

Why Use Reading Sentences Practice: Build Fluency With a Halloween Theme? Research shows that reading comprehension is directly related to reading fluency. These fun sentences make the children WANT to practice their reading skills!

How it Works: There are 4 different activities the children can enjoy while practicing their reading fluency. It has a chance to read the sentences, then these sorting activities: by type of sentence, by complete sentence or fragment, and realistic vs fantasy. Plus, I'll bet you can think of more!

What's included?: This resource has 28 different Halloween-themed sentences, along with 10 sentence fragments. Plus, there are suggestions and materials for 4 different activities.

The sentences are made mostly from Dolch words Levels Primer, One, and Two, with a sprinkling of Halloween words. (They always remember those, don't they?)
