Reading Shelfies and Snapshots (Visual Reading Logs)
What educators are saying
Ready to revamp your reading logs? Do it with Shelfies and Snapshots! In this purchase are several formats for students to record the books that they read through the year, over school breaks, and even a read-a-thon recording sheet for the entire class.
Sheflies! Pretty cool, huh? As your students complete books through the year have them record them on their shelfies. Have them include the title and author and add details to their book spines if desired. Multiple formats are included—(one) almost 20 books (two) with five books—so all readers can easily fill a page! Complete one as a class with the "Our Class Shelfie" as well.
Shelfie Snapshots! When you have parent conferences these are perfect to line the halls giving a snapshot as to what each student has read recently or is currently reading. Your students will love getting to discuss what they have read over a break and this is a perfect conversation starter.
Have students remain accountable over school breaks by completing a shelfie snapshot! Snapshots are labeled with the following breaks: Sweet summer time, Spring break, Fall break, Happy Thanksgiving, Winter Break,Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays. Shelfies are group by 20, 10, 5, and 3 books. Additional picture book shelfies and genre shelfies have been added.
