Reading Skills Bundle: TEN Sets of Trifolds Targeting Reading Skills!

This reading bundle includes ten sets of reading trifolds! The trifold sets target reading skills including main idea, inferences, theme, plot, author's purpose, citing text evidence, writing nonfiction summaries, context clues, cause & effect, and figurative language. Most of the sets includes four trifolds, but the figurative language set contains seven trifolds. Therefore, this bundle contains 43 trifolds in all!

The trifolds are print-and-go! Use each set of tri-folds over the course of 4 (or 7 for figurative language) days to provide targeted instruction on each topic.

As I was creating these trifolds, I pictured myself using them with small groups of students. Specifically, I envisioned sitting around a table with a group of students who would benefit from targeted skill instruction, and who needed additional opportunities to practice working on a particular reading skill. That being said, however, you can also successfully use these tri-folds in a large group setting or assign them as independent work.

The trifolds within each set progress from basic to more complex. Answer keys are included, along with additional teacher notes for EACH trifold.
