What educators are saying

I bought as a replacement to update and have already printed and laminated and up in the room ready for my new set of kinders.
A great resource for students to reference when they are reading. I love the use of animals to teach different reading strategies.

Previously a reading strategies pack, this fully revised classroom resource pack gives you scope to create your own visual supports for a huge range of lessons and learning areas across your own program!

These posters, banners, teaching sticks and coloring pages can be used to provide an analogy prompt for a 'strategy' within a learning area - e.g. reading, writing, math. Be creative!

Included as a page-sized poster, banner pennant and round stick label is:

  • eagle
  • fish with big lips
  • pig
  • snake
  • lion
  • monkey
  • jumping frog
  • dolphin
  • cat with glasses
  • spotty dog
  • panda
  • puppy
  • flamingo

A full upper-case letter bright alphabet set of bulletin board letters is also provided - create headers, titles, labels and signs.

A coloring page of each animal is provided too!

You will write your own words to suit your chosen teaching content area and to suit your own curriculum or program. A text-editable full MS Powerpoint version is also included.

Included with this new fully revised resource is the original 'Reading Strategies Pack' that you may have found on a blog post of ours.
