Description
If you sat near my guided reading table, you would hear three questions again and again... Does it look right? Does it sound right? Does it make sense?
At the beginning of the year, I am the voice who says these words aloud. As the year goes on, it is the children who constantly think and say these words. They use these phrases to monitor their own reading and coach each other during partner reading.
These posters are a simple visual to keep in your reading area. The bookmarks are a perfect reminder for independent reading or reading at home. It is an easy way to teach families the language that you use in the classroom to help solve new words and practice self-monitoring.
