: Word Search- Introducing or reviewing reading strategies? This is a great way to get the kids talking about the different strategies.
In this reading strategies themed puzzle, words are found forward, backward, up, down, and diagonally. I would consider it on the challenging side since students are looking for words in all directions. Keep this in mind when considering it for third grade and below.

If your students are like mine, they love these. Sometimes I use these for morning work. Use it however you would like in your classroom.
Also, it can be used as a literacy center, maybe even have them write about what a few of them mean.
