This is a Word Document of four two-sided bookmarks explaining five key reading strategies: questioning, connecting, predicting, clarifying, and evaluating. In addition to the explanation of the strategy, sentence starters are provided to get the kids going with their responses to their reading.
We gave these to each student to use with reading logs for our schoolwide reading program. We printed them in color and laminated them. My title is still on the top of the bookmark (Reading Rocks! at Central Middle School) but all you have to do is type your title over it. I left it there purely as a place-holder.
