Product Description

Use this 3-page checklist to keep track of which skills each of your students have mastered and what skill to make your next instructional focus. By using this list, which is based off of various resources published by TCRWP, you will know when a student is ready to move up to the next guided reading level (Fountas and Pinnell).

Meet students where they are! By using this checklist, you will know exactly which steps to take next in order to grow your students as readers.

HOW CAN I USE IT?

  • reading conferences
  • planning reading groups
  • parent-teacher conferences
  • student data notebooks

WILL IT WORK FOR ME?

I have this checklist printed for each student in my conferring binder. I have the first 2 pages (levels A - V) printed on one page, front and back. I will only print page 3 for students who surpass level V. It's up to you how you choose to organize your data!

In the download, I have also included links to fluency rubrics that you can use with this checklist as well as pictures of my conferring binder.
