If you're looking for an easy way to introduce and work with the 192 1st Grade Reading Street sight words to your students this year, you've found it! (You may have already seen or purchased my 40 Kindergarten sentences! If so, this is identical, just 1st grade words!)
This document has 192 different sentences, each one with a new sight word from this curriculum. The sentences are one line only so they fit perfectly into pocket charts.
Each sentence has a corresponding picture, as well as the sight word highlighted in yellow. Sometimes the sight word is even at the beginning of the sentence for students to practice reading it with a capital letter first. There is a mix of punctuation as well.
Simply print on white cardstock, laminate, and cut on light gray lines for use in pocket charts, in the reading center, or wherever you find a use! (These fit perfectly into the Target Dollar Spot pocket charts!)
If you don't have Reading Street, maybe these words will still be of use to you. The words included are as follows:
