The High Frequency Word Check Off List is a system I use in my classroom to keep track of each student’s progress in learning to read the reading high frequency/sight words. Using different colored highlighters gives me a quick visual when checking progress.
High Frequency words are listed in order by unit and week in columns going from left to right.
A bold line separates each unit.
One check off list can be used multiple times for assessments when you use different colored highlighters to identify each word. It allows for 8 assessments. If you assess more frequently add another page.
