Reading Street Common Core Supplemental Resource for Grade 1 ~ Unit 5: Great Ideas ~ READ AND DRAW Fun Fluency Practice ~ No-Prep Literacy Center!
This first grade Reading Street Common Core (2013) supplemental resource contains 6 pages, one page for each of the 6 stories in Unit 5: Great Ideas. The students will read the nine sentences on the page and draw a picture to go with each of the sentences. (The children may want to look back at their Reading Street stories to help with their drawings.) Upon completion of the pictures, the children will practice reading fluency by reading the sentences to a friend.
This supplement was meant to align with the following Pearson Reading Street Common Core 2013 grade 1 reading stories from Unit 5 (Great Ideas):
