This is the first in a series of packets that I will be creating that will support this reading curriculum. However, you don’t need to be using the Reading Street Grade 1 series in order for your students to enjoy these activities since they are all aligned with the Common Core. Unit 1 Week 1 features the story Sam, Come Back by Susan Stevens Crummel. These six hands-on and interactive activities enhance the key skills for this week’s lessons. Although I am not affiliated with this curriculum, my materials are designed to be used in conjunction with this series.
