-Monitor and Clarify packet(complete while reading) or as a rereading activity p.7-9
-Author's Purpose: Students will go back through areas of A Summer's Trade to think about the author's purpose, p.11-13. Then students will read the paired text, Thunderbird and Killer Whale and complete the bottom of p.13.
-Genre Review for A Summer's Trade and the paired selection Thunderbird Killer Whale to provide cited text evidence to show examples of Realistic Fiction and Myth elements.
-Constructed response, p.16.
