**If you bought the first five units before May 20, 2015, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org for this unit. I am posting a product that includes all six units for $15. You wouldn't have had the chance to purchase it and get the 'free' unit, so I can send you this one.
I started making these instructional tools or worksheets because I don’t like to teach from my Teacher’s Edition. This way, I was able to bring a small group of papers up front to teach the lesson instead of the whole book. They also save time by allowing me to show word lists, sentences, and lessons without having to write them out on the board first.
These pages include a wide variety of things.
1. Word lists for when it says, “Write these words on the board.”
2. Check Word Reading formative assessment lists
3. Amazing Word scripts
4. Vocabulary scripts
5. Graphic organizers suggested for Day One Text-Based Comprehension skills
6. Vocabulary activities
7. Concept Map cutouts to put on a bulletin board
8. Street Rhyme poems
9. Letter cut-out for phonic/word activities
10. Pages for students to work on
It does not include anything for Writing or Research and Inquiry at this time.
I included both a PDF version and a Publisher version in the zip file.
I decided that the best way to show you what these were like, is to put Unit One Week One in my store as a free download. So check for that first.
***This unit is available in a bundle with the other five Reading Street Instructional Tools units.***
I would welcome feedback on what works well, what doesn't work well, what additional pages might be nice to have, etc. email@example.com
If you have any questions as to how I use something or why I made something the way I did, feel free to ask.
I hope you find it helpful and am looking forward to hearing what you think.
When you purchase this product, you are welcome to make copies for your whole class. If you have colleagues that are interested in this, I would appreciate it if they purchased their own copy.
