This game runs like BINGO. Simply cut out the reading terminology cards and place them in a container. There are 35 terms in all, and you can choose the cards you'd like to practice (use at least 24), or use all 35 and have students choose which 24 go on their game boards.
I photocopy the game board on a double-sided sheet. My students label one side as "side A" and the other as "side B". They keep their game board in their class work folder and we will also drop everything and play. It keeps them on their toes, and is great reinforcement for the meanings of these terms.
My list of terminology is based off of the PA assessment glossary and common terms found on upper elementary and middle school state reading tests.
