Reading Warm-ups - Blasts! #3 – Grade 3 is a set of twenty short reading passages from a variety of genres coupled with four or more multiple choice questions of corresponding reading objectives that assess student knowledge and performance. Each individual blast is designed to be used as a short, daily reading activity to help students review and practice grade three reading objectives. Students read a passage and answer questions based on the passage. A mixture of fiction and nonfiction passages is included.

These are the same as passages and questions forty-one through sixty from Reading Warm-ups – Grade 3. Be careful not to duplicate your purchases.

This product was previously sold as Reading Blasts! #3 – Passages and Questions - Grade 3. Everything in this product, Reading Warm-ups – Blasts! #3 – Passages and Questions, is the same as what was in Reading Blasts! #3 – Passages and Questions – Grade 3. Only the name is different.

An answer key is provided.

These blasts can be used in a variety of ways. You may have your students read the passage and answer the questions in class. The answers can be checked in class and discussed immediately. The blasts can be assigned as homework and checked in class the next day. Several blasts can be put together as a mini-test.
