Reading Warm-ups - Blasts! #4 – Grade 6 - Passages and Questions – Grade 6 is a set of twenty short reading passages from a variety of genres coupled with four or more multiple choice questions of corresponding reading objectives that assess student knowledge and performance. Each individual blast is designed to be used as a short, daily reading activity to help students review and practice grade six reading objectives. Students read a passage and answer questions based on the passage. A mixture of fiction and nonfiction passages is included. An answer key and a matrix of reading objectives showing which passages include which objectives and for which questions are provided.
