Do your students struggle with reading with expression? This fun PowerPoint lesson and game will help your students understand the purpose and when to read with appropriate expression.
How Will I Use It?
You will begin this activity by teaching your students what reading with expression is, when to use, different expression voices, how to know when to use which voice, and clues to look for. After the lesson, there is a game where students will read the passage and choose the correct expression voice (multiple choice) to read with. Then, there are a few other passages where they must decide what voice to use (free response) and what clues led them to read with that voice.
