This resource is perfect for students to "hold" their thinking while reading. This freebie is part of a set. I designed these templates because students love using Post-It Notes-something about keeping track of your thinking on a yellow square just makes it more exciting! These templates are perfect to teach students to be concise and thoughtful with their language due to limited space. Use this template during guided reading, independent reading, or whole group lessons.
If you download this freebie, then I'd love your feedback!
Check out the entire resource! 18+ additional templates! Reading With Post-Its!
Some of the templates include: Character Traits with Text Evidence, Prefix Web, Figurative Language, Cause and Effect, and MORE! These organizers are aligned to Common Core and to be used during reading and language arts. Students place sticky notes on selected page and complete the organizer. Collect organizers to assess and drive your instruction, keep in reading folder, or collect individual Post-Its to place on chart paper to keep track of whole class thinking.
My students love using them during guided reading groups!
