This is a great and fun way to practice High Frequency Words with your first graders!
Print out the sight word bees (preferably on cardstock or heavy weight paper) and cut them out. (You can also laminate to last longer!) I bought a cheap fly swatter from the Dollar Store for the kids to “swat” the bees. Lay them all over the floor, desk, table, or hang them on the wall. The students will use a fly swatter to "swat" the bees as they say the sight word. Students can use a timer to time themselves or have a partner time them and switch. Students can use the recording sheet to keep track of their times!
This is great for centers and you can time the students to see who can go the fastest! The kids love it!
High Frequency Word Bees come in color and black and white!
