Easy sight word sentences for kindergarten.
My kindergarten team was really struggling to come up with hands-on ways for our students to practice reading sight words in context. The reading curriculum itself lacked any in-depth ideas. As a team we created this week-by-week set of sentences to help our students grow as readers.
This file goes step-by-step through units 9 and 10 of McGraw-Hill Reading Wonders letter sounds/sight words order. Each week builds on the last. Focus words for these units are "too, help, has, play, where, look, good, come, does" along with 3 review sentences.
It includes 13 unique sentences that include only sight words and CVC words. Great for a learning center activity!
Other units are available in my store. If you would like the entire year's curriculum of sentences,
