This sheet can be used during reading workshop. It gives students a key of how to use post it notes during their IDR time or read to self time. This allows students to mark different places in the book with a post it if they make a connection, don't understand something, or have a question for the teacher. Then when the student meets with their teacher, they student can share what connections they made or ask about parts of their book they don't understand. This has been very helpful in my classroom.
