I am all about integrating math into my literacy block and my fourth and fifth graders LOVE playing Reading and Math BOGGLE! I printed each card on card-stock, laminated it, and put velcro on the back to stick to my BOGGLE board. Each card has a letter from the alphabet, as well as a box to record a number using a dry erase marker. To play, students record the BOGGLE board on the recording sheet (provided), create a word out of the letters on the board, and solve to identify how much the word is "worth." My students love the fact that the letters not only change each week, but the numbers and math content does as well. I change the letters to be worth whole numbers, decimals, and fractions. This product includes a card for each letter in the alphabet, a recording sheet that includes an example of how to fill it out, and questions to follow. It is also downloaded in word format so you can modify as needed. The possibilities are endless! Enjoy!
