This pinwheel craftivity is great for children of all grade levels! It is easily adaptable to any lesson and it's not time consuming to put together!

Have students write a word problem on the lines and show how they solved it on the flip side.
*(Addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division) OR have them do one of each.
Use the blank template. Have students draw a fractional picture on one side and the fraction that represents it on the flip side.
*(Ex. They can draw a rectangle with 4 out of 6 parts shaded, and on the flip side write 4/6).
Have students illustrate and write equivalent fractions.
*(Ex. 1/2, 2/4, 3/6, 4/8. They can either write how they know it’s equivalent or just draw the picture to match the fraction.
