Reading and Writing - Daily Literacy Practice - First Grade BUNDLE

Daily Literacy Practice is something my teammates and I have used for many years. It is a fabulous component of a balanced literacy classroom. 

With over 232 student activity pages, there are lots of goodies packed into Daily Literacy Practice that allow plenty of support for direct instruction in addition to lots of material for independent practice.

Each activity is geared to assist students in reaching mastery in 1st grade phonics and a large number of high-frequency words. Additionally, students are encouraged to used higher level thinking skills while improving their comprehension and writing skills. It would also work well with high kindergartners and beginning 2nd graders or 2nd graders in need of review, independent practice or intervention.

A great way to supply this material to your students is to have it printed and tape bound into a book for each student. The student workbook includes a copy friendly black and white cover.

Each of the 232 student workbook pages is first grade common core aligned and noted with the key focus standard.

This product also includes a Teacher's Handbook with notes and suggestions for the best way to utilize this in your classroom and how it can be coupled with direct instruction. It also includes phonic and high frequency word lists for each section of the book, perfect for using as a spelling program. This also allows the user to find pages that speak to specific phonic or high frequency word skills.
