I created these vocabulary cards as a companion to the vocabulary words contained in the workbook titled Reading for Every Child: Vocabulary by Robyn Raymer and published by Instructional Fair.

These vocabulary cards can be used in numerous ways. I printed them on colored cardstock and displayed them in a pocket chart. Each week I focus on one lesson. I introduce the words for the week on Monday and place the cards in the pocket chart. I have also provided each student with a copy of the cards and they have used them as flash cards after writing the definitions on the back of each card. I have also had them glue them into interactive notebooks. The possibilities are endless!
