This review contains mini assessments that address the following standards:

E. Determine theme or main idea of a text, story, drama, or poem and explain how it is supported by key details; summarize the text.
F. Describe or explain in depth characters, setting, events, procedure and ideas from a text drawing on specific details.
L. Acquire and use grade appropriate academic and content specific words and phrases, including those that signal precise actions, emotions, and states of being.
Understand and apply content/academic vocabulary critical to the meaning of text.
M. Apply vocabulary strategies to determine the meaning of unknown words and phrases using context clues, word parts, roots, and reference material.
