Use the clues and your knowledge of French to fill in the grid! This exercise requires students to read and interpret complex sentences using complex sentences (formed using the relative pronouns qui and que). This exercise is set in the year 2500 and focuses on 5 people who will want to travel to five different places. Each of the five has invented an amazing machine, has observed a distinct UFO, and has a robot with a unique problem. A word bank has been provided due to the specialized vocabulary. The eighteen sentences employ the future tense, but the exercise could easily be reworked to focus on the present tense.
Intermediate French students will be challenged in this exercise, both because of the French and the logic, but they will be motivated to complete it!
