The chart allows students to analyze each character by assigning a character trait in the beginning of the story as well as finding evidence in the text which supports the trait. Students will then identify a trait that portrays how the character has changed. To develop this work further students are given an opportunity to prove their analysis by writing a paragraph to prove their assignment of each transformation.
