*Use for CVC word reading practice- type CVC words on the playing cards- students must decode and read words. Can also put pictures of CVC objects and have students spell the word.
*Use for number recognition. Type numbers on the cards and students must ID and/or count out that many counters, chips, etc!
*Use for addition/subtraction practice. Type problems on cards and students must give answer.
*Use it for story comprehension activities- type questions about characters, setting, problem, solution, story elements, etc and students answer to move ahead.
*Use for color ID- insert a circle onto the playing card and fill with a color. Students must ID the color.
*Use for shape ID- insert a shape onto the playing card. Students must ID the shape.
*Work on patterns- insert shapes in a pattern on the playing card and students must tell what comes next in the pattern.
