In this video, Buddy, the Ready, Set, Read dog, and educator, Vera Clark, teach 1) The names and sounds of all letters in the alphabet, 2) How to blend these sounds into words and 3) Lesson 2 “at” words along with 4 sight words (a, and, are, on). The lesson concept, vocabulary, and sight words are taught first and then applied with reading sentences. Students have the opportunity to pause and read on their own and to read along with the teacher. Lessons 2-100 are each less than 10 minutes in length.
