What educators are saying

I don't know who loved having these discussions more -- me or my students! This framework helped me to sit back and my students to speak fearlessly without merely restating. Thanks, Carrie!
This was very easy to use and the description and advice on how to use was very helpful. My students found ti easy to follow a long with and helpful to guide the conversation.

Description

They're full of input and ready to output but class discussion has been falling flat. How do you engage the whole group in a discussion that isn't just a list of facts but an actual conversation about your unit of study? Whether they're at the end of level one or four, they an have a great discussion (ANY day of the week) with the right set of expectations! Built for a 45-50 minute class period, these tally sheets will help your students become active participants and leaders!

This Discussion Thursday packet contains full instructions on how to implement a Discussion Thursday in both high and low tech environments. A set of tally sheets for novice high, intermediate low, and intermediate mid. Tally sheets for both reader based units and content based units.
