I made this graphic organizer of the Real Number System to visualize:
1) Venn Diagrams & Real Number System together in a number line format
2) Sometimes, Always, & Never concepts
The intent of this graphic organizer is to be 45-minute activity to review the names and symbols used for the groups of number in the Real Number System with an assignment. As an alternative, a second graphic organizer is available for to be used as reference material. Additionally, a color version is available for your bulletin board. I made a similar larger anchor chart too. The color scheme used is intentional, a rainbow (ROY G BIV), for coordination with science. Many students will pick up this without you mentioning it.
This graphic organizer utilizes a full sheet of 8 ½ x 11 sheet of paper intended to be glued into interactive student notebooks (ISN). I print these out ½ size (2 on 1) and cut in half. Custom tab included.
I have students glue in their ISN (6 dots only to dry quickly) at the beginning of the lesson. Student then add a tab to their ISN to find easily. The TAB is intended to be glued on the right side of the notebook (even if you glue on the left side) and staggered down the side to be read easily.
The boxes on this graphic organizer are:
