This product has 55 statements about real numbers, and students must decide: Are they always true, sometimes true, or never true? It is set up so that it can be used in multiple ways:
1) As a worksheet, where students circle A, S, or N for each statement
2) As a card sort, where students cut apart the cards and sort them into three piles
3) As an interactive notebook study tool, where students make foldable pockets to sort the cards into and have answer cards to keep in the back of each pocket to study with later. (Foldable pockets and answer cards are included in this file.)
The statements include topics such as number classification (whole numbers, integers, etc.), fractions/decimals, rational vs. irrational numbers, square roots of perfect & non-perfect squares, closure property, & patterns of operations with various sets of numbers.
If you live in the state of Oklahoma, this is perfectly aligned with the new OAS pre-algebra standard PA.N.1.4.
