PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

In this problem, students are given three points on the parabolic path of a basketball shot from behind the 3 point arc. They are asked to formulate a quadratic function in order to see if a 4th point (the basket) lies on the curve to see if she sinks the shot. The function can be formulated algebraically. There are some simple decimals/fractions involved in solving algebraically. In the preview file, I have removed the other known points on the parabola. There is a complete answer key provided.
