This integrated project describes 8 imaginary houses for sale. NEW: There is a packet for both US and Canadian buyers. The second half of the pack describes the needs and budgets of six buyers. Your students will read the house descriptions and determine the best house for each buyer. Students will practice using place value skills along with their reading and inference skills.
Place Value Skills involved in this packet:
- reading large numbers up to 1,000,000
- rounding numbers
- comparing numbers
At the end of the project, they will write their own description of a house that would appeal to buyers.
